Where is your shop?
At present, we operate exclusively as an online Asian Fusion bakery, through pop-ups, markets, and online orders on a weekly basis. For the latest updates on our activities, please follow us on our Instagram @fankery_. Thank you for staying connected with us!
Where is your kitchen?
Our operational kitchen is situated within The Kitchen Collective at 9A Akatea Road, Glendene. Please note that this is not a walk-in shop.
When can I order?
Each item will have its available date listed on the product page. We rotate our products weekly and only showcase the ones we have planned to make in our timeline. All preorders on the website must be paid in full at point of purchase.
Can I inquire a custom order?
Yes of course, We'd love to be a part of your special celebration. Please fill out the "Custom Fankery Cake" form found under Menu. Alternatively, you can email us at hello@fankery.com!
Can I change my order?
For any inquiries regarding order modifications, kindly reach out to us at hello@fankery.com. We will make every effort to assist you promptly. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I cancel my order?
Life happens, we understand. A full refund can be processed for orders cancelled AT LEAST 3 DAYS prior to your order date. Please inform us at hello@fankery.com
Fankery will not issue a refund for any cancellations made within 3 days of the pickup/delivery date.
PICKUP/DEVLIERY FAQs
NZ Nationwide deliveries disclaimer:
We ship our mochi filled cookies and cheesecake nationwide every Tuesday - Thursday. Once you place your order, we will dispatch your order on our soonest available date. We book all nationwide deliveries through NZ Post, with an estimated arrival time of 1-2 business days (on most occasions overnight). Please note that we do not deliver to rural addresses at this time. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking code to monitor its progress.
While we make every effort to ensure that your goods arrive promptly and safely, please understand that unforeseen delays or issues can occasionally occur. In the rare event that an order is lost, damaged, or delayed, Fankery cannot take responsibility, and refunds will not be issued.
By choosing nationwide delivery, you acknowledge the potential risks involved. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your support!
Where is pickup?
Pickup point depends on the location of the market/popup. If its is an online order, pickup of your order will be directly from our working kitchen at The Kitchen Collective based in Glendene. The address and pickup times will be sent to you via email upon order confirmation.
What if I am unable to pickup at the designated time?
Please message us on Instagram @fankery_ at least 48 hours prior and we will try our best arrange a pickup time suitable for you.
Delivery costs?
Delivery costs are based on the post code of your provided location. The cost will be provided at checkout.

Please note: Delivery orders are manually accepted since we are only able to take on a limited number of delivery orders each day.
When will delivery be?
Estimate delivery time will be sent in your order confirmation email. Delivery will be straight to your door and a we will text you when its on the way. We do not re-schedule deliveries so please ensure that someone is there to receive the delivery (if you’re at work we recommend putting a work address with instructions). We do not re-schedule deliveries.
What if I miss my delivery?
We always recommend our foods to be eaten FRESH. Fankery does not take any responsibilities for deliveries that are not received during the delivery time. If no one is home, we will leave the parcel in a safe place near the doorstep. However from this point, Fankery ceases responsibility of your order and it's a race between you and a potential army of ants to reach them first!!!!!
Cheesecake deliveries during warmer months (Sept - Apr):
Cheesecakes are meant to be stored in the fridge at 0 - 5°C. Although cheesecakes are delivered under cool conditions in chilly bins, please be aware the texture of the cake may change when left outside if delivery recipient is not available to receive. Fankery does not take responsibility under such circumstance and no refunds will be issued if the goods are spoiled once delivered.

Can I store the food overnight?
Please see the 'STORAGE' tab in our menu page/footer menu for food storage instructions and recommended eating guidance.
Is there gelatin or alcohol in your cheesecakes?
No* Our Basque Cheesecakes are vegetarian and halal friendly.

Do you have any vegan, gluten-free or allergen free options?
Unfortunately not, we do not cater for any vegan or gluten free diets as of now. If you have allergies of any kind, we strongly advise you not to consume any Fankery goods as we cannot guarantee our foods are allergen free.
